Once a competitive gymnast and athlete, Alexis began her path of teaching in 2013 shortly after becoming a new mom. Her passions for empowering others + moving her body in an expressive way have no separation when guiding others through a yoga flow, barre class or strength training session.
Alexis is now a 200hr RYT, Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist with countless certifications over her 10+ years of teaching experience.
Having taught barre, bands, yoga sculpt, hiit, mat pilates, dance cardio and cardio kickboxing, she now prioritizes her teachings to just barre, yoga and 1:1 clients for corrective exercise + strength and mobility training.
Whether it is yoga, calisthenics, or weight training she aims to build your strength and flexibility to bring you back to a place of alignment and balance.
Alexis is a firm believer in the power of movement + breath and their ability to align your physical, mental, and spiritual self.
Alexis has been teaching primarily in Nashville and surrounding areas over the last 10 years, with experience teacher training around the country. She is best known for her challenging, yet accessible strength classes, creative flows, focus on alignment and fun playlists.
Her favorite part of teaching and training is the community that is built around physical and soulful wellness.
Her hopes are that those working with her feel reconnected with their own personal power, strength and peace.
